Leisure Focus is committed to getting more people, more active, more often.

Our Active Communities Programme is dedicated to providing first-class service to the people, who need it most.

Through a diverse range of activities and events, we strive to promote an active lifestyle while creating a welcoming environment for people of all ages and abilities.

Starting Well:

At Leisure Focus, our commitment is to embark on the journey of 'Starting Life Well' by establishing the foundational elements for a joyful and wholesome experience of physical activity. This involves engaging children, young individuals and their families in sports and physical activities. Across our various locations, we offer a range of initiatives designed to support individuals aged 5 to 18 years old.

Living Well:

We are dedicated to aiding adults to lead healthy lives and embrace fulfilling, productive lifestyles. Our 'Living Well Initiative' is tailored to provide support for individuals aged 18 to 65 years old.

Aging Well:

Our 'Ageing Well Initiative' is geared towards supporting individuals aged 65 and above. We are enthusiastic about assisting individuals in maintaining a robust and active lifestyle.

Move More. Connect More. Live Well.

"7 Days of Focus – Over 66s Activities Week" is a week-long programme bringing together free activities, community opportunities and local organisations to help residents aged 66+ stay active, connected and well.

Running across the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead, the week gives residents the opportunity to try something new, meet people, discover local activities and find ways to stay active beyond the week.

From fitness and sport to social activities and community opportunities, there is something for everyone—whether you are already active, looking to get started, returning to activity or simply looking for new ways to connect with your community.

Ageing Well Expo

A key part of the week is our Ageing Well Expo at Braywick Leisure Centre, which brings together local organisations and community services supporting healthy and active ageing.

The Expo provides an opportunity to discover what's available locally across health, wellbeing, physical activity, social connection and community support, while meeting organisations that can help residents continue to live active and independent lives.

The Expo is free and open to everyone — including residents aged 66+, family members, carers, professionals and anyone interested in finding out more about opportunities for older residents.

Get involved

Whether you want to try a new activity, meet new people, improve your wellbeing or simply find out what's available in your local community, "7 Days of Focus" is a great place to start.
