Job Purpose
Leisure Focus is looking for an exceptional General Manager to lead our flagship Windsor Leisure Centre. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a thriving leisure facility while playing a key role in shaping the future growth of the organisation.
Reporting to the Contract Manager, you will drive operational excellence, lead high-performing teams, and ensure the centre delivers outstanding customer experiences while achieving strong commercial performance.
This role will also contribute to strategic projects across the Leisure Focus network, particularly supporting digital development and innovation initiatives.
As General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, performance, and development of Windsor Leisure Centre. You will ensure the facility operates to the highest standards while increasing participation, community engagement, and commercial success.
• Lead and inspire teams to deliver exceptional customer service
• Ensure the highest standards of Health & Safety and operational compliance
• Develop innovative leisure programmes to increase participation and revenue
• Manage budgets and support financial planning to maximise profitability
• Drive operational performance across wet and dry leisure facilities
• Lead change initiatives and continuous improvement across the centre
• Build strong relationships with community partners and stakeholders
• Monitor KPIs and implement strategies to improve performance
• Ensure the centre maintains exceptional cleanliness and presentation standards
• Support marketing and promotional activities to increase engagement
• Develop and coach staff through regular 1-1s, team meetings, and development reviews

We are looking for an inspiring leader with a strong track record in leisure management who can deliver operational excellence while motivating teams.
✔ Proven experience managing and leading teams in a busy operational environment
✔ Strong leadership with the ability to motivate and influence teams
✔ Experience managing wet and dry leisure facilities
✔ Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and KPIs
✔ Ability to analyse performance data and drive business improvements
✔ Excellent communication, organisational, and IT skills
✔ A strong understanding of customer expectations within leisure and fitness environments
✔ A track record of improving business performance and customer experience
✔ Ability to lead change and deliver projects successfully
Desirable qualifications include:
• Qualification in Leisure Management, Project Management, or a related field
• First Aid at Work Certificate
• Pool Plant Operator Qualification (or willingness to obtain)
• Experience within the leisure, fitness, or sports industry

We are looking for an inspiring fitness professional to take a lead role in bringing the best fitness experience to our members from arrival and throughout their journey with us.
Reporting to the General Manager, this role is such an exciting opportunity for someone to have a strong influence on the culture, direction and success of a flagship leisure facility.
The main responsibilities of the suitable candidate would be
Ensure all Health & Safety procedures and responsibilities are carried out at all times.
Ensure the successful implementation and operation of the club’s member journey
Responsible for all aspects of the daily operation of the gym and studio facilities.
Promote excellence of customer services and motivate people to enjoy exercise
Ensure that the financial objectives of the gym are achieved and the appropriate financial systems and procedures are implemented.
Identify and deliver appropriate staff training and development, motivating staff to reach their potential.
Do you have below qualifications & accreditations?
Management experience in leisure or a related industry
Have a recognised fitness training qualification equivalent to minimum of Level 3.
Have a fitness industry recognised qualification such as lifestyle, management or nutritional.
Evidence of CPD in the previous 12 months.

Job Description
Develop and implement a retail strategy aligned to organisational goals
Drive revenue growth and maximise gross profit across all sites

Job title: Swim Administrator (Multi site)
Contract : Full time, Permanent
Salary : £12.21 p/h
Reports to : Swimming Coordinators
Job role
The Swim Administrator will support the site Swimming Coordinator in the delivery, administration, and continuous improvement of the Learn to Swim Programme across the contract. This role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about swimming development, highly organised, and motivated by supporting programme growth, customer experience excellence, and operational efficiency. The Swim administrator plays a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the swimming programme while contributing to its commercial success and sports development objectives.
Primary objectives for the role be:
Support the Coordination of swimming programme across the contract.
Assist with ensuring the swimming programme is operated in accordance with the National Teaching Plan.
Help implement and maintain the swimming lesson brand standards across all sites.
Forge positive working relationships with the local Swimming Clubs to benefit the Learn to Swim Programme and swimming in general.
To maintain a high level of knowledge within the swimming industry and keep abreast of changes within the industry through the reading of literature and attendance of Continuous Professional Development seminars.
Support on the booking system is updated each term and all associated work that relates to enrolment and payments.
Assist with the development and retention of swimmers within the Learn to Swim Programme.
Support compliance, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
The Swim administrator will focus day to day on the following tasks:
Coordinate and liaise with the swimming coordinator about possible changes/improvements to the programmes.
Coordinate and liaise with Swimming Instructors regarding timetable amendments.
Keep abreast of attendance figures, change to public demand and maximise profit.
Ensure all paperwork and processes are followed correctly across the contract.
Ensure information required is input on to the membership system correctly.
To ensure non paying direct debits and cash/card customers are chased and money recovered across the contract.
To ensure programme exit surveys are being completed.
Attend regular Sports Development and regional ASA club meetings representing the contract.
Liaise with the Swimming Clubs on talent identification and possible exit routes from learn to swim to club swimming.
To undertake any other duties as reasonably required by your Line Manager and other Senior Management.
THE CANDIDATE
Qualifications and skills
The candidate must demonstrate extensive knowledge of learn to swim programmes and the ASA National Teaching Plan. Abilities in teaching and managing a team of staff is also essential.
The candidate must be a fully qualified Level 2 Swimming Teacher.
Ideally an NPLQ and First Aid at Work certificate
Among the personal characteristics sought the applicant:
Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels.
It is essential that the applicant is self motivated and focused on achieving target driven objectives.
Have a friendly and approachable manner to ensure positive relationships are formed with key partners and stakeholders.
The position of Swimming Coordinator may be classed as a regulated post and therefore may require a DBS Disclosure. Where the individual does not already hold a DBS check, it may be necessary for the post holder to be submitted for a DBS check.

The successful candidate should have a depth of knowledge, skills and experience of leisure centre operations and experience of working in a busy leisure environment. Excellent communication skills, flexibility and a commitment to customer service are essential. Successful applicants will be provided with full training in all aspects of this role.
(It is desirable, not essential to hold a current NPLQ (National Pool Lifeguard Qualification) and Pool Plant Operators)
You will need a flexible approach to work being open to working shifts including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
